Introduction to History-Artifact

The website I find to be the most interesting is YouTube. I feel like it shows how the world has changed throughout the years. For example, a video from 2010 will be significantly contrasted than a video now. Video blogs are one way to know what might have happened a long time ago. These people talk about their lives and that is also a part of history. We get an inside scoop on the their views on the world and how they approach day to day activities. I find this to be the best example of change over time. We get glimpses into the past and from their can compare it to our own lives in the present. As far as what I would want to learn about YouTube, I would want to learn about how they came to be. I wasn’t around to see the old YouTube and I would want to compare it to the website of today. The historical significance is learning about the world from different ideas. You get to see into the eyes of someone else. I find it quite interesting how different people can be. The way they talk or what they do with their time. The way I view the world can be swayed by video blogs or conspiracy theories. It makes you think. I find it good to look at the world from a new perspective. You can learn so much from a simple video about a person’s life and feelings.
